Refunds & Right of Withdrawal — askQ.live
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Applicable to users in the EU/EEA.
14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital-service purchase (Consumer Rights Directive, Arts. 9–16), using any clear statement or the model withdrawal form.
Live-service exception
When you tip or donate during a live show you expressly ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service begins (Art. 16(m)). This is why captured tips and donations are not refundable.
Faulty service
If a paid digital service is defective or not as described, you keep your statutory remedies under the Digital Content Directive (EU 2019/770).
How & when
Payments in the EU/EEA are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Request a refund at connect@askq.live; approved refunds are returned via Stripe to your original payment method within 14 days.
