Controller

askQ, a company registered in the Netherlands (KvK no. 74306634, VAT no. NL859847846B01) and operating from Steilte 4, 5629 TN Eindhoven, Netherlands, is the data controller for your personal data. Contact: connect@askq.live.

Data & lawful bases (Art. 6)

Email, display name, quiz participation, donations, tips, analytics, and cookies/IP. Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) to process donations, tips, and payouts; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for non-essential cookies, analytics, and marketing; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for fraud prevention, security, and improving the service.

Payments & processors

Payment data is handled by Stripe, which acts as an independent controller for payment compliance; we never store full card numbers.

International transfers

Where data leaves the EEA (e.g., to Stripe or to infrastructure providers outside the EEA), we rely on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46).

Retention & security

We keep transaction records for the statutory tax/accounting period and analytics for shorter periods, and we protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and breach notification (Arts. 33–34).
