askQ.live is in early access. You can host and run live quizzes without paying anything to us. If you would like your audience to be able to send you voluntary donations and tips, our Supporting Host plan enables that.

On the Supporting Host plan, audience donations are collected by askQ.live on your behalf. We retain 15% as a platform service fee and settle the remaining 85% (net of payment processing costs) to your bank account on a monthly cycle, subject to a minimum settlement threshold. Voluntary donations and contributions
Audience members may voluntarily send donations to hosts on the Supporting Host plan, and separately to askQ.live itself, as a form of appreciation and support. Donations are:
- Entirely optional and never required to participate in any quiz
- Never linked to quiz outcomes, scores, or rankings
- Collected by askQ.live at the point of transaction
- For hosts on the Supporting Host plan: 85% (net of payment processing costs) is settled to the host on a monthly cycle; 15% is retained by askQ.live as a platform service fee
- For donations to askQ.live directly: retained in full by askQ.live to operate and improve the Service
Donations are non-refundable except in the cases described in our Refund Policy.
Switching plans
Hosts can switch between Free and Supporting Host at any time from account settings. Plan changes take effect immediately for future events. Donations already collected under a previous plan choice are settled according to the plan that was active when the donation was received.
Payment methods
We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and popular wallets through Razorpay, our RBI-authorised payment provider.
Taxes
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. GST at prevailing rates will be added where applicable. Hosts are responsible for their own tax compliance on donations they receive from askQ.live.
